New AV. How'd your BG fair?

I spent most of my time doing AV last night. Geared my pally up in the blue ret gear and figured AV would be a good enough place to test it out. I have to say, it wasnt what i had hoped. I had hoped for a big brawl, but i overestimated the honor/HK and 2 honor a kill is not enough to farm for imo.

Pushing the limits of a class trinity

Relmstein is at it again, this time with a look at class trinity in MMORPGs. This is old, old RPG strategy stuff-- basically almost every RPG out there is based around three different class roles: that of tank, DPS or healing. Tanks (like Warriors and Fighters) take damage, DPS classes (like Mage and Rogue) dish the damage out, and healing classes (obviously) keep the party alive long enough to win the battle. For a while now, game developers have tried to vary up this class trinity, so that you don't just have the same options in every game. In WoW, hybrid classes like Paladin and Shaman can play more than one role, and classes like Hunters and Warlocks have extra abilities (crowd control and buffing/debuffing) that help them be something more than what the class trinity lays out for them. Or there are classes like Druids, who can play all three roles at various times.

Can you wait to seen Wrath of the Lich King flop

Wrath of the Lich King is going to be the initial step into the ultimate death of WoW. I want someone to stand here and tell me 3 things, yes 3 things that Wrath of the Lich King will do to make WoW an enjoyable game again. As it stands, since TBC, WoW has trippled its "grindfest" instances are being pulled out of their a$$ left and right while people think they are happy with a few arenas and the same 2 year old battlegrounds.

Want to increase bag space in World of Warcraft?

Increased bag space a lot? 18 slot bags @ 40g a piece? I'll stick with 16s and deal with the hell of banking and swapping stuff. Adding a straight gear bag would be nice. My tanking gear takes up its own bag so I don't see how this could hurt.

A new World Of Warcraft scam: Account sales

i just recently got an email saying that i tried t sell my account and that i would be under investigation...is this for real? i was pretty uncomfortable responding with my account name and password so i sent an e-mail asking for confirmation that it was a real blizzard administrator? has anybody ever had a similar experience?

The Best Way of Low Level Farming

Mining and skinning are both great ways to make money at low levels.

Disenchanting is a really easy way to make money once you already have a couple of gold seed money. Just buy up all the weapons and armour in the ah priced at 10s or less b/o and sell the dust/essences. Whilst its not uber-money compared to Outlands its easily going to be enough to get your ride with a bit left over for goodies.

i have been seriously considering buying World Of Warcraft

Ok, well i have been seriously considering buying World Of Warcraft. But i have just got one question to ask. I brought the game up to the counter at my local gaming store, seeing as it was only $20 and i thought i would give it a try for the free one month period before i started to pay. The lady told me that to activate my account, i needed to put in my credit card details, or buy a game card before i could even try it for one month. So what im asking is: do i need to enter my credit card details and pay for a month, or buy a game card before i can use the one month free trial? Also, i do not want to download the 10 day free trial off the website, too much to download.

those are only available to Paladins

Easy answer, Paladin. Said book was a relic: libram, those are only available to Paladins. Shamans use relic: totems. Combine with the warhammer, which a lot of Paladins also use in the Warcraft setting, in addition to wearing Plate armour. Game, set, match really. BE? Some type of magic-user. Could be Warlock, Priest or Mage. Think it was a Mage.

my logic may be incorrect

Hmm, my logic may be incorrect, but JC is best paired with mining since you'll be able to use the raw materials directly, whereas if you're unable to process them, you'll be spending quite a bit at the AH for them. Enchanting is best paired with the one other profession that doesn't require a complimentary profession to make it cheaper. This profession in tailoring. For both of these professions you'll be required to rely on the AH for most of your raw materials. This makes both professions a high cost with a variable high reward. In my experience, and from what I've learned, these professions are best suited for players that have a high stock of gold, and are aware of the finer details of the AH. Starting out I would take one of two choices. a) two gathering professions: mining, herbalism, skinning. These professions offer a player a chance to quickly make 'minimal' money. Selling the raw goods at the AH will make you a medium amount of cash. I've done this for several characters, but have found that once you reach 40-50 your level'ing and money making become stagnant. I then would move to option b. b) This option, which is inevitable, is to pick a gathering with a producing professions. Here you'll want to make sure that both professions compliment each other. Skinning-leatherwork, herbalism-alchemy, mining-blacksmithing, etc. Leveling up these 'product producing' professions take time, and a fair amount of money, but offer high reward if you stick with it.

Im speaking of my warlock

Im speaking of my warlock, who is 1 lvl from outlands. I have 2 lock quests. I know one involves sunken temple and nets a piece of gear. The other I cant recall atm. Id rather skip them both if its only a gear issue. However if those quests open yet another lock quest I dont want to miss out or need to go back and do it later. (although in a few more lvls I could solo it) With my paladin I know I skipped a quest and as far as I can tell it worked out fine. Been lvl 70 for 6 months now.
