What class was the Draenei on the Burning Crusade CG movie?
I wanted to know what class that Draenei was on the CG movie that the game plays after installing World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. I assume it is a Shaman due to the purple blunt weapon with swirling arcane stones around it. And also the fact that Shaman is the new class for the Alliance. However, the Draenei was, from what it looked like, wearing plate armor, and caused a "holy-looking" light to be emitted from the book he opened. This leaves me to think that the Draenei could also be a Paladin. Also, there never was a Blood Elf Paladin on the CG movie either.
Anyone want to clarify this? Thank you already.

Easy answer, Paladin. Said book was a relic: libram, those are only available to Paladins. Shamans use relic: totems. Combine with the warhammer, which a lot of Paladins also use in the Warcraft setting, in addition to wearing Plate armour.
Game, set, match really.
BE? Some type of magic-user. Could be Warlock, Priest or Mage. Think it was a Mage.

Dude, I think he's a paladin for 3 reasons: One is that he has a hammer that he puts over his shoulder, and he appears to be walking out of a holy place. And plate armor can be gotten at 40 on pallys so all of these make since.

Definitely pally, I didn't see him throwing any lil sticks into the ground The hammer and book are a dead give away (and the plate armour).
You'll notice that on one of the game loading screens, there is a female Blood Elf Pally, equipped with said book and armour too...same look

Nobody said that the spell that draenei casts on himself is obviously a paladin blessing of some sort.
